WowZa

Things just keep getting bigger and better - lots of shows coming up - online orders from Facebook and now I'm building a website.

I love every minute of this - even when there's not enough hours in the day - why? Cause this is mine, all mine - and I love that.

I'll try to get here more often but, check me out on FACEBOOK!

Cher-Y Blossoms

A new bomb is in the works called Cher-Y Blossoms.  It is named for a lady who paid Bee's Bombs a very nice compliment the other day.

It will be scented with coconut, Japanese Cherry Blossom and a touch of Pineapple and of course will be coloured pink!

They will sell for $2.00 each Canadian with 50% of the proceeds being donated to Breast Cancer Research.

Cancer affects everyone in some way - and it's time that we kick Cancer to the curb.

If you are interested in purchasing Cher-Y Blossoms and helping with the cause - leave a comment and I'll get back to you!

Business is Booming!

Who would have ever thought that a retirement hobby could have become the business that it is now becoming!  I am thrilled - but, need more hands...LOL!

I have a catologue in the works, and a brochure - a kiosk on a website that we're working on.  I have a devoted and steady group of wonderful customers and above all...more ideas than I can handle sometimes - but, this is most definitely the best cure for whatever was ailing me after I retired.

It's been a fantastic journey so far and lots of things are happening in the next couple of months.  A show in Renfrew in March, and May has me in Kirkland Lake, Sudbury and here in North Bay!  It's going to be a great time!

Bev and I just did a show a few weeks ago, and I had several before Christmas.

Since I last wrote I've developed an all natural line called Baby Bumble Bee's and it's getting great reviews from new customers!
Little Baby Feet Soap $3.00 a pair - in pink and blue and scented with lavender and Baby Powder

Mandarin Scented Duckie soaps with cotton crochet baby facecloth $5.00

Miss Gigi the Giraffe $6.00

Cuddly Teddy Beary $20.00

Two Little Lambs who have lost their way $20.00 for pair

Knitted Hooded Towel for baby with matching facecloth $20.00 for set

Organic Baby Balms (for the entire family)
crochet facecloths for baby
more facecloths all $2.50 each and made with 100 percent cotton

I am just so happy with everything that is happening of late - and I just love what I do.

Busy Bee

It's been forever since I've posted on here - but, I've been a "Busy Bee"...

I love my new Business and am enjoying all my experimenting and discovering.  I found some wonderful recipes for soaps and bombs and have been trying all these new things for my customers.

Debbie talked me into doing some Craft Shows to get some exposure so, that's a biggee right now - getting ready for those and keeping up with the orders that I have already.  So,  Debbie and I will do two shows - and right now is especially busy for me.  But, it's all good - I like this kind of busy.

Al is in at the Hunt Camp this week for the Deer Hunt and it's a good time to get a lot of stuff done.  I'm grateful to my friends who have offered to come over and help.  That means so much to me to have such wonderful support.

Where has the summer gone!

Sitting here in the Great White, the seasons change very quickly.  Although our days are still quite warm and comfortable the day cools off quickly once the sun starts to set.  You can see the changing colours on the trees and just know that fall is around the corner.

We've had a great summer with lots of friends and family visiting, but, I've been especially busy with Bee's Bombs.  I'm now officially a registered business, and have orders coming from everywhere and I'm so very excited about it all.
Tomorrow I will start with my sewing projects - witches, and scarecrows for the fall along with some lovely lavender sachets.  Soaps - lots of soaps - they've become a popular seller and I've even started making Baby Spa Baskets.

Lots to do and lots to keep me hopping...I love every minute of it!

What a Wonderful Week

I am still whirling from all the excitement here this week and today we had a visit from our Friend, Fascinatin' Debbie.  Always a good time - we both love her and hers so very much.

Octopus hunting for dinner??

Fishies have lizards in their gizzards
I did manage to get some "bombs" made and packaged and received a big order from up home, so, I'm thrilled to say the least.  While I was "bombing" I decided to do up a few soap recipes and did a few bars for Debbie to take home to her Grandson Sebastien (aged 3)...they were fun to make and I'm going to see what else I can come up with.

These will be fun for Sebastien as he will probably want to get at the embedded toys inside of the soap...gotta see what I can come up with for little girls.  I scented these with Peppermint essential oils - just enough for a hint of a smell.

Last night I did some Raspberry scented bombs and in line with that today made some soap with pureed raspberries and oatmeal...it smells divine!

Tomorrow I'm on the road with White Water Rafting Debb - heading up to Temagami to catch a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater - should be fun!  TaTa

Well I was so excited.....

When I was up home the other day, I dropped some of my bombs off to a friend in Haileybury.  Lo and Behold - yesterday she messaged me and told me that she had some orders.....so, despite my lazy hazy crazy days of summer...I got back to the bombs and made a few batches.

I made some "champagne" glass "bombs" which I thought would be really neat party favours.  I made my own "scent" and called it White Lace and Promises and it is amazing - it smells so nice.  Then, I went to work and came up with my Champagne bombs...I'll change them a bit if I make them again...but, I thought the were really neat!

Now, the ideas are just running through my head - I'm just so excited....
